There was a rumore about Lucy Lui that her sexual orientation was bi-sexual, but she was really insulted when she heard that and commented that the media and the people all they want is to label other people, everybody has his or her own life to live and its their life so they could choose the orientation of the sex as they please, that if she loves a women in the life that she is living that everyone would make a huge fuss about it, but loving a man is ok with everyone, “why cant you be what you want to be. Why do people always want to put labels on other people”

According to Lucy Lui she is always multitasking, and she does not have any free time so she could enjoy her self, aside from english Lucy Lui speaks four languages Chinese, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese but a little bit. She plays the occordion and often practices skis and martial arts.

When Lucy Liu’s parents were still in Taiwan he father worked as a civil Engineer and her mom was a Biochemist, this life that they had in Taiwan was sacrificed because they chose the life in the United States, where Lucy Liu was born. When she started going to school her parents insisted on her to study more than needed even at her spare time, during the middle school period Lucy Liu attended the Joseph Pulitzer Middle Scool, then at high school she went to the Stuyvesant High School which was really prestigious and graduated from there, when it was time for the University she attended the University of Michigan, where she studied Asian Languages and Cultures and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.
