Lucy Liu was born in New York, she has one brother, Alex Liu, which she was born and raised with him, her parents are Taiwanese immigrants. When Lucy Liu was still a child she didn’t have a stable life, where she had to move to different places all the time, also when she was a child her English was not that much good because both of her parents talked Mandarin, till she reached the age of five where she went to school and started learning the language.

When she started going to school her parents insisted on her to study more than needed even at her spare time, during the middle school period Lucy Liu attended the Joseph Pulitzer Middle Scool, then at high school she went to the Stuyvesant High School which was really prestigious and graduated from there, when it was time for the University she attended the University of Michigan, where she studied Asian Languages and Cultures and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.

She is mostly famous as an actress where she managed to get nominated to the Emmy Awards. The role that got Lucy Liu started in the world of acting was in the TV series Ally Mcbeal which she starred in it from the year 1998 till the year 2002. some of Lucy Liu’s other notable roles that she played where in both of the Charlie’s Angels where she plays the role of one out of the three angels, and in Kill Bill where she played the role of a Chinese Mafia leader.
